Marine radio transmitters specification sheets

The conventional used VHF radio tracking transmitters in the range of 138 - 174 MHz do not transmit through salt (marine) water.

However, a number of species, wildlife animals, seals for instance, can be tracked when they are up out of the water of course. These Marine Mammal radio transmitters are designed and built with these types of species in mind, and are therefore built to withstand the depths that these transmitters may be subjected to.

Another common use for these transmitters is for asset recovery. Devices that have been deployed in the marine environment, such as data collecting pop-ups, floats, satellite tags, and drift camera systems.

Every effort is made to keep these files current and accurate, so confirm the details at time of inquiry and ordering.

You can also save time by contacting us directly to discuss your requirements as there may be other options available from other transmitter types.
